Catherine Mc Cue Boes has been invited to exhibit at BRAG as part of the Green Series. Showing in the Vault, 'Putting A Lid on it" is an installation of artist books /boxes, opening on the 5th June, the exhibition continues until the 5th August 2012. Web www.brag-brc.org.au Putting a Lid On It is an installation of book boxes, by Bundaberg based printmaker and book artist Catherine McCue Boes. Mc Cue Boes spent many weeks at two remote Australian gas plants photographing the impact these gas plants had on their surrounding landscape. As well as recording the environmental damage caused directly or indirectly, by their establishment. McCue Boes’s installation presents her photographs in the format of book boxes.
