The book in a range of pale green, blue and gray paper starts with a great statement;
‘experience is not what happens to you, it’s what you do with what happens to you’
The book tells the story of Patricia Florence (Sue’s mother) and her Journey from war torn London and the destabilization of its inhabitants and eventual evacuation of the City’s children to safer zones. Using images and text to great advantage, the story takes the reader from London to South Africa on a personal journey through life and travels of a truly remarkable woman of note.
A beautiful book.
